I think I already used the right custom wiki link format, but I'll go check. Anyway, I'm dead and signing off. I don't know if I'll get a chance to do anything more with this stuff until I get back to Brussels on the 26th.

Baylink - please forgive the intrusion to your wiki. I setup the WikiBusinessCase site before and did not receive any request to change that. The Identity MetaSystems was ad hoc to demonstrate to a bunch of scientists who haven't really seen wiki - and actually have that page slowly emerge to become a complete document. I see the Identity Metasystems evolving over the next 6 months into a Best Practice section, but wanted to develop it independently before listing it in your index. It's going to be at most a few pages, will provide exposure for this wiki, and I'd only ask that you allow the wiki process on this topic to occur at least until next August.

Well, the other page was, at least arguably, on topic, since it was sort of metalogical to the site, the site being run on a wiki. As for the identity thing, I'm pleased you want to plug MediaWiki (and wiki's in general) to people, but someone else's wiki (set up for other purposes) is not really the place to do that. MW sets up in about 15 minutes on a Linux box -- which in turn sets up in an hour or two. Even given that I'm planning to evolve the wiki into a collection of best practices information not strictly limited to network operations and management, the use you're making of it isn't particularly helpful to that audience (even if the results of your conference might be -- though I suspect you're *way* too early on the curve for even that). Please give some thought to hosting this yourself, or taking it to one of the several commercial MediaWiki hosters, if you don't think you can. --j
